The Hostel One Basilica is very well located, big and comfortable.The staff is very nice and helpful!! This place is ideal for young people who want to make friends, have fun and get to know the city. The staff organizes games, meals and visits to the coolest ruined bars and clubs in Budapest.

The staff is super friendly, so that you’ll get answers even for questions you didn’t ask. Besides, thelocation is actually the best you can find in Budapest, near to Deak, which is the station that can bring you everywhere! I think the administration could do more about the cleaning, the bathrooms’ floors are always so wet that I was afraid to dry my hair inside. Nevertheless, my Eu experience was great per total, I felt safe and I had everything I needed at my disposal! Thank you!
Hostel was really central, really good location. Lots of things to do nearby. Staff were great, really friendly and helpful. There was free dinner and drinking games. 24 hour reception. I would stay here again, I can't really fault it!
Can’t really fault my stay at Hostel One Budapest. It was clean, in an excellent area, staff are great and the free dinners and drinking games are a great way to meet other people. Don’t stay here if your not ready for a party! Thanks Hostel One Budapest, we had an amazing time
The best thing about the hostel is the staff and the location. The staff makes sure you feel part of the family. Good places for solo travelers if you are looking to party while in Budapest. But it could be difficult to meet other solo travelers because the hostel is huge. Hostel could increase security by providing locks and the beds did not feel very clean, so did the restrooms
Brilliantly located, so close to the ruin bars and the metro is right outside. Super friendly and helpful staff, went out of their way to help me. Rooms are a good size and bed comfortable. Very clean single occupancy bathrooms but they are small! WiFi through out and a good signal, very small lockers provide but bring your own lock. I really enjoyed me stay here and plan to stay again!
Omg I absolutely love hostel one! I was only there for one night but wanted to stay for so much longer. The staff was so incredibly friendly and welcoming, even though my friends and I were there for less than 24 hours i really felt like part of the crew. We had family dinner with everyone which was so nice for meeting people and they had lots of activities planned so if you're there alone its really easy to meet people with similar interests and make friends. great location, super comfortable!
They make Budapest even greater.
There is an experience to stayed there. They give you advises to hang out, things to do, where to eat. And they offer you activities for going together to somewhere in the city, to a daytrip or to party in famous places. Good free diner (where you can make friends from every part of the world), coffee at any time and clean in every place makes everything even better. The location is amazing, just in the middle of the city, with good accessibility to the airport, to famous places or to the area where walking tours start. Just finishing saying thanks you to all the staff, especially the good friends now I can remember the names: Melinda, Eric, Jade, Kevin, Millie, John, Matteo, Peyton or Lorenzo.

This hostel is more than just meeting strangers and getting drunk with them.. the whole environment feels like a family home and the staff are absolutely top notch! The location couldn’t be better and free dinner is always a winner.. I’d recommend this place to everyone if you’re looking for a friendly environment and a great place to stay in Budapest
Hands down BEST HOSTEL to stay at. The staff is by far the best staff I have ever encountered. They want you to have nothing bust he beat time. The free dinner is great and really brings every one. Then after put on your rally pants on as the drinking games start and the night begins. It really seems to bring everyone together and after they take you to a bar or a club or both! Not only is the night life fun but the staff seemed to be able to answer all our questions about Budapest and gave us great things to do during the day. I CAN'T WAIT TO COME BACK
